Dear Friends,
One of my four brothers is in grave need of prayer. I'm asking you to storm heaven on his behalf, for me....for my mother, who hasn't slept in days. In recent months he has turned a lost sheep. I don't think I need to say more, but his situation is particularly serious right now. Pray for remorse...hope...faith...grace. Pray that he remembers who he was and knows he is loved. Just pray. I know you will, and I'm grateful.

Beloved St. Augustine, you were at first wholly human-centered and attached to false teachings. Finally converted through God's grace, you became God-centered, God-loving and God-preaching. We pray that our Lord will renew in us the Spirit which inspired you. Filled by this same Spirit, may we thirst after the Lord as the true source of wisdom. Amen.
