Non-Update

Well, it's looking like we'll wait a bit longer. Amanda's doctor says he doesn't think she'll go this week. I'm slightly relieved, actually. This morning I suddenly realized I'm not packed yet and I don't have any onesies or a diaper bag. Makes me wonder what else I'm forgetting, but honestly these past few weeks my brain has proved itself to be not much more than mush and I've been floating around like I'm on clouds. In a pleasant sort of way. So now, with a little more time I get to wrap up a few last details....and I get to be here with my girls on Mother's Day. :)

All of my boys have been late. My girls have come on, one day after, and before their due dates. Maybe it's a boy thing. ;)

My mom was once told that nothing was happening and the doctor didn't foresee me being born within the next week (my dad had a business trip). I was born the next day, causing my dad to turn around and come home. :) Based on this and personal experience, I have come to the conclusion that doctors really don't know. Pack your bags!

Those turtles are so cute.

Prayers are continuing.

Well with my second baby my doctor was leaving on vacation the Monday after my Thursday appointment. My doctor checked me and said he didn't see anything happening, I was only 1cm dilated. So, I went home, kind of disappointed and really grouchy because it was hot. I cleaned the house like a crazy woman on Friday and woke up early Saturday morning(3ish) because my membranes ruptured. My son was born on the hottest day on record here in Los Angeles County ever! So, I don't know if it was the heat or he was just foooling us but the doctor's prediction was a wee bit off. :)

Perhaps you will be on your way to Georgia sooner than you think.

Maybe he will arrive on Mother's Day!
