Isn't it wonderful to watch a child's curiosity and passion for learning unfold before your very eyes? We are in our eighth year and it still brings great pleasure to watch my children enjoy the thrill of discovery.
You are doing a terrific job. Thanks so much for sharing your journey.
This is the place where I record the treasurable moments with my children while they're young, the joys and pleasantries of daily life, the laughter over funny moments, the tears over hardships and the bits of beauty and grace poured upon us each and every day. Here I record even the frustrations over unpleasant behavior, messes, difficult days and the needless anxieties over things that don't matter. Our Father's hands are in every aspect of our lives. With them He gives and He takes, all the while guiding us toward true happiness...Himself...if we only let Him. Later in life, by recording now I'll be able to see clearly how we were guided, when we were moved and when we were made to stay still. I'll recognize that our blessings were plentiful, that our sufferings were really graces in disguise, and every hair on our heads was numbered. But I'll see these things not in a general sort of way. I'll see them in the details....as they are put to voice here.

Well, homeschooled kids in California :)
Oh, yes indeed!
I still can't believe you let your kids wear those clothes for dirt-play!

Can I come to science class? It looks like so much fun!
I tend to agree- absolutely no comparison to all the workbook "stuff"!
