Weekend Surf Report
We'd read that some of the waves along the beaches this weekend would be up to 10 feet in height, so we made a Saturday morning trip. A few surfers were riding, but not many. Gianna and Madeleine were mezmerized, and fearless. I don't think they could ever get too much waterplay. We kept them on a tight leash, don't worry. :)

What beautiful photographs! The girls are adorable. I especially love Madeleine's little white dress, she almost looks like she's wearing sea foam. What a wonderful day.

Whew, those are some big waves! I've only been to the ocean a handful of times but I have a healthy fear and respect for it (and frankly all its "residents"). Our last trip to the ocean, Hilton Head, the jellies were biting so they discouraged people from swimming. Yea, I'm good. I'll just lay here in the sand, thanks.
Looks like it was a beautiful day. I can almost feel the foam and sand squishing in my toes!
Peach was fascinated with the pictures. She's never seen the ocean. She said the water looks like bubble bath! I bet it was just a tad frightening?
