Are you planning on another girl or might it be a boy this time? How fun that you could actually choose. I like the facet of adoption. :)
I know people who are making them up like Kinlee and Brinlynn; just because!
LOL, that's why I never share our names with our parents! I'm sure what you picked was beautiful. :)
That is funny! Sounds like something my mom would say!
Emily, no, we have no particular plans for girl or boy, but you're right that we could have specified gender had we wished. We've always left our options open, knowing God would decide what's best for us.I only mentioned girl names because we've got a single name in mind for a boy, and my mom liked it. :)
Kristen,That is so funny! We just adopted our third daughter and a few family members weren't shy at all in sharing they didn't care for the name we picked. But like your mother, our family loves her anyway. I'm excited for you as you pursue adoption again. Perhaps you'll have three girls like us! :) But how fun would a boy be, too! God is so good and I know he's going to bless you with another child.
Funny! I'm sure I would have loved your names.
Funny. I got talked into giving our son my husband's first name because the first male in his mother's family has always had that name. The original agreement was to use his middle name - of course that didn't work. In exchange I would get to name all future children - and of course, our son's an only child! He has informed my husband that if he ever has a son, said son will not share the family first name!
