You know spring is near...

...when the dogwoods are blooming

....when the art galleries are wishing you a happy feast day

....when you're changing your recipes and your linens, planning for first communions, ballet recitals and the end of a school year, witnessing new life all around you and hoping for new life in your home....when Easter will soon replace lent.

Life is good. Happy Spring, friends.

Thank you for sharing the blooming trees! Nothing is blooming around here yet so this is nice to see.
God Bless.

Kristen, isn't that a bartlett pear tree in bloom? We've got them bursting out with their fluffy floweriness around here (Charlotte, NC) right now and I am eagerly awaiting the dogwoods, with their larger, more free-floating flowers. :)

Frances, I think you are right! I've passed by these trees every March for years and always assumed they were dogwoods from their awful smell, but having just compared the flowers of both trees online, they do look like pears. Thank you!

OK, wow! I didn't realize that was an art gallery. How did I miss that? That's really amazing! Thanks for pointing it out!
