Goodbye, Summer

Summer gifts I'm grateful for:
~
outdoor dinners
silly girls
kite-flying

red hair, and warm red light
daddy's girls
mama's girls
bike rides
soaked dresses
sandprints
breakfasts
wedgies
youthful fearlessness
sunsets
~
Thank you, Lord, for each and every blessing. May I count them all, even those that don't paint pretty pictures.
~
Happy first day of Fall, everyone!

Beautiful pictures, and thanks for the comment on my blog. Is it REALLY easier with two kids? I have heard that going from one to two is the hardest transition....

Gorgeous pictures, Kristen!

Beth, if I may jump in and throw in my two cents' worth, I think the hardest transition is from no child to the first one. Once you can handle one, you can handle anything. :-)

Just to piggyback about having two kids... having an infant and a toddler was daunting at first, but within a few months, it was great. The baby was amused by the older one, and eventually, they learned to play together quite nicely.
