Amy, they absolutely do not clean well. But they do a fair job, are easy and even fun to use and leave a nice fresh scent. I like the fact that they use disposable cloths, so you're always mopping with a fresh one. I have no problem letting the kids mop with the Wet Jet - they just press a button on the handle to release the cleaning fluid, never coming in direct contact with the cleaner.
Overall I would say the're great for a quick cleaning when you're short on time. When I want to be thorough, I just go over a room twice, using a new cloth the second time around.
