Sts. Michael, Gabriel and Raphael
Tomorrow, September 29, marks the Feast of the Archangels, an important and beautiful feast for the Church. Considering the incredible power God has bestowed on these saints - the power to defend against evil (Michael), to protect during childbirth and pregnancy (Gabriel), and to heal and maintain good health (Raphael) - they are vital to a mother's needs throughout her life on this earth.
I don't think I can number the instances I've been protected by the archangels during my childhood and adult life. When I have more time I will share some of those stories. In the meantime, some wonderful ideas for celebrating their feast can be found in the link above.

My patron saint is the Archangel Michael so this is my Saint's Day (although in my tradition it is in early November).
Holy Archangels of God, pray to God for us.
