Not a great picture, but our peach tree is loaded this year and the fruit is delicious! Time to harvest, before they all fall to the ground. I've lost more than twenty already!
Kristen - they are beautiful! Peach pie, peach jam, peach cobbler, peach ice cream, peaches and cottage cheese....is there any wonder I don't weigh less????? ;)
Cheryl, you are so funny! I wish you were here so I could give you a basket-full. I'm making a peach pie or two tomorrow so these darlings don't go to waste. It'll be my first time! :)
I am so jealous!!! I LOVE peaches. We have a plum tree, but the family of squirrels that live there pretty much pick it clean before any of the fruit ripens. :(
Peaches are my favorite, and those are so beautiful! I've never seen a peach tree so laden before! You'll need to do a peach festival at the Virtual Kitchen!
OH man... my kids would eat every single one of those straight off the tree. There would be NO leftovers, I'm afraid, for peach cobblers or pies or anything else.
(the frost killed 90% of the peach crop here in SC, so there aren't many locally grown peaches for sale here... sigh)
Simply beautiful! I just made my first peach pie last week. If you happen to own the Joy of Cooking cookbook their recipe for peach pie is amazing! If not, I'd be happy to send you the recipe! Happy baking! :)
Kristen, make sure you try the ice cream recipe in the Simply in Season cookbook (you mentioned in another post that you have this one). It's really fantastic. I made the strawberry ice cream (in the Spring section) but it also suggests peaches and blueberry, I think. We generally don't like "strawberry flavored" ice cream, but everyone loved it.

Oh... you are so lucky, Kristen! Those peaches look absolutely delicious!
Those are so beautiful. I'm wish Alice. I think I would walk to California if you would be so kind as to serve fresh peaches for dessert.
Ooh, Kristen, what a beautiful picture! I hope you'll share that peach pie recipe! :)

ENJOY your harvest!!!!
I can just taste them! I think the picture is beautiful.
A peach pie sounds so good, hmmm, think I'll do one too. We picked up some wonderful peaches at a farmers stand so why not?!
Ooooh, that is so impossibly exotic and not-like-here. To grow peaches or lemons in my garden is a dream of mine!
I'm not a big peach fan, but those look gorgeous, if that helps!

Am I too late? Are they all gone? Can I invite myself up for peaches and cream? :) :) :) Maybe we could even lure Alice all the way down the coast!
