During mass this past Sunday both girls were a bit squirmy. I took them outside the chapel so as not to disrupt the other families, when Gianna asked, "Mama, am I being a good girl?" to which I responded, "You need to sit still during holy mass, but (here I took her face in my hands) I can see you are really trying to be a good girl." Intrigued by my statement she raised her eyebrows, "You mean, you can see it in your heart??"

You and Gianna are as sweet as can be. This story reminds me of my husband, who as a little boy responded to the "Lift up your hearts" part of Mass with a loud, "But I can't do that!"
How sweet!
Oh, that is so sweet! Love the new picture on your blog and the bright colors!!
My friends little boy asked her why God is speedy, she looked at him and said "what do you mean?" He responded "at the end the priest always says thanks speedy God!" (Thanks be to God) Another cute church story!
How dear! What a darling!
