The girls had their portrait taken this afternoon. A few hours later we ran into an aquaintance who kindly asked the girls how they were, when Gianna belted out, "We had a photo shoot today!"
During dinner at a local restaurant tonight, my mother who is visiting from out of town commented that her entree was delicious. Gianna exclaimed, "It's a dream come true!"
(Note: Remarks accentuated by spirited arm, hand and facial expressions. Very dramatic.)
Where do they get this stuff?

I'm not sure just where they get it from...but two of mine have plenty of it and use it often, sometimes to my embarrassment. :)
Yes, we have that kind of drama, too - only it's usually from me....ahem.
I can't speak for yours, but my (5-year-old) drama princess gets most of her great lines from her favorite movie stars, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Ariel.
Someday the poor girl is going to realize that she is not actually going to be a princess when she grows up, and then I guess we'll be in therapy.
Girls in particular I think like to try out certain expressions they've heard. It's so funny.
Too funny! I can just picture a little girl saying what yours did at dinner. Too cute!!!
Girls, girls, girls! It reminds me of the book Fancy Nancy! One of our favorite around here!! MN mom posted about it in January. My 2 year old girl calls the book "Sassy Nassy"!! Now how can anyone resist reading when asked in that way?
